P3SE - Simple Acoustic Monitoring System for Grinders

Description

The P3SE system is able to satisfy every application requirement, such as the continuous control of the grinding and dressing processes and the protection from damages due to collisions in the work area.  P3SE is an independent system available in 3 versions: rack, for machine cabinet and remote panel.

Up to two acoustic sensors (AE), managed contemporaneously can be connected and there are four logic channels available to analyse the signal.

The level of the signal received is analysed and displayed on the bars LED display.

P3SE works at a frequency range between 4 KHz and 1000 KHz, the auto setup function is used to select the most suitable band width.  P3SE has been designed to be completely compatible with the E20N electronic unit, which allows for the simple upgrade of the application in the field, without needing changes on the PLC.
