Description
The mastergears with an involute profile, cylindrical and helical, are used to check the “rollers’ dimension” or the rolling.
They are available in the following types of materials:
- Standard steel for ARNE gauges (61÷63 HRC)
– C 0.95 Mn 1.1 Cr 0.6 W 0.6 V 0.1 - Super-fast steel (HSS) S 600 (64÷65 HRC)
– X82 WMo 0605 - Stainless steel AISI 440 C (60÷62 HRC)
- ASP sintered steel (60÷62 HRC)
They are supplied based on the customers’ drawing or on Marposs’ project; based on the product specifications.
In order to prevent possible material deformations (after years of use), the masters machined by Marposs undergo special stabilization and ageing treatments.
Surface coatings to increase hardness and wear resistance are available on request.
